How accurate is a product scan?
Only the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 example currently has a sourced ingredient and price record. Its formula comes from COSRX; prices are a dated snapshot from COSRX and Ulta. Always check the physical label because formulas change. This is not medical or dermatological advice.
Where is my skin profile stored?
This demo saves your profile, shelf, and recent scans only in your browser on this device. No account is required and the data is not uploaded.
Do photo and barcode scans work?
Barcode lookup checks Open Beauty Facts. A product photo is sent to an OpenAI vision model to suggest a product name, then the same open-database search runs. A photo is not treated as product facts, and the site does not save it.
Can I compare products?
The comparison interaction is a labeled UI preview. Only the COSRX product has a sourced verdict, so the prototype does not claim a factual winner between two products.
